Listening With My Whole Body

Morning familia,

Lately I’ve been thinking about something that has lived in my body forever. But only after I entered the world or Human Design and Gene Keys finally made sense…

I don’t just hear with my ears

I hear with my whole system

In Human Design, there are two main ways people connect with the world.

One is Visual ~ it’s about seeing patterns and group energy…

The other is Acoustic ~it’s about sound, tone, and vibration. This acoustic part is the foundation of true Individuality

People with strong acoustic energy don’t just hear the words. We feel the feeling and vibration behind them….

I have 5 keys that create my personal way of listening: 57, 22, 43, 12, and 55.

Together these keys form an inner orchestra

that I’m still learning to understand

Below is how each of these keys feels in my body and what my journey with them has been like:

The 57 – The Right Ear

Existential Hearing

————————————-

This key lives in the belly area

It’s the ear of the present moment.

In a split second, it tells us whether a situation, person, or place feels safe or threatening.

It goes straight to the bone

to alert you to threats or opportunities

before your mind even wakes up to the situation.

Richard calls it an early warning system for survival, it’s a spontaneous intuitive radar that is essentially never wrong.

It functions via an electrical impulse wave that registers instantly in the brain,

allowing you to weigh survival risks

in the blink of an eye

Even though my Authority is emotional,

the 57 still sends its signal right away.

My spleen speaks first,

I just have to wait for my Emotional Authority

before acting on it

When it’s active, I feel a quiet but clear ping in my belly or solar plexus. It’s one of the most reliable senses I have…

Over the past few years,

it has become much clearer and sharper,

especially after I started clearing

and honoring my body (GK 46).

In the past, when my body was completely out of alignment, I would question everything.

Now I understand that my spleen is reading geometries and time patterns

that my mind simply cannot conceptualize.

The 22 – The Left Ear

Emotional Hearing

This is my emotional ear

It doesn’t listen to facts

It listens to the tone

the spirit, the mood, and

the unspoken feeling behind the words.

It hears through voice messages,

texts, and even silence.

Cuz it moves in a wave,

I hear people exactly as they are in that moment…

If someone’s energy is clear and open,

even a simple thank you

can bring me to tears.

I literally hear the music in their voice.

This key explained so much about my years as a banker. I sat with thousands of people, and sometimes I would cry listening to ordinary stories - especially from retired elders living alone.

I I could hear their loneliness,

their longing for family attention,

and the quiet pain they carried

Their words were simple,

but their tone told me everything.

The 22 basically hears the soul behind the sound…. This is one of the reasons why ppl with the 22 have the potential to become some of the best therapists cuz we can feel the other person’s emotions

like a sponge. This deep empathy is one of the beautiful gifts of the Piscean energy.

And funnily enough, while I was writing this,

I just had a little “aha” moment.

Now I understand why I became one of the top bankers in America for a decade.

It wasn’t because I was pushing people to buy the bank’s products or services. It was because I was truly listening to their stories. And because I listened so deeply, they would naturally buy from me and send referrals my way.

I used to joke with my friends back then,

I think I picked the wrong career

I was in finance, but I should have gone into psychology or counseling,

because I genuinely loved listening to people’s journeys….

The 43 – The Inner Ear

The Voice of the Muse

This is the key of selective deafness.

It blocks out other people’s opinions and

noise so I can hear my own unique truth

I’ve noticed this key has triggered some of my friends over the years. Sometimes I ask for their feedback, but then I go with my own inner knowing anyway

And this is what I’ve heard over the years….

You never do what I tell you…

Why do you even ask for my opinion

if you’re not going to listen…

You’re so stubborn

I give up…

you always end up doing your own thing or

You’re just going to do what you want anyway

To all those friends

I still love you and I really do appreciate your advice. But the truth is, we all have to stay true to ourselves. Let’s not mix up our friendship with

whether I follow your suggestion or not

When this gate is loud inside me, I can become completely deaf to the outside world…

Cuz I’m busy listening to the Muse

I have friends with the full 23-43

the Genius or Freak channel

Their ideas are often a bit unconventional

or strange but to me they are brilliant

I love watching them in action ..

They have a real gift for taking wild,

abstract thoughts and turning them

into something clear and practical.

I’m so hooked on their 23 because

when they’re around,

my own abstract ideas suddenly feel like

they can actually land and take shape.

The 12 – The Voice

Mutative Articulation

Once I’ve heard the inner and outer world,

My 12 wants to turn that silence into sound…

This is the voice that says,

I know…

I can try…

if I’m in the mood.

This key is the main reason

I write these long posts

My 12 using vibration

to touch or transform others.

When the full 12-22 channel is active,

the words just pour out,

like my fingers have their own life

If someone only has the 12,

they sometimes struggle

to put emotion on paper.

A tip that helps me

sit in a busy coffee shop or co-working space.

The energy of people around me

acts like antennas,

and the writing flows much easier….

The 55 – The Spirit

Emotional Acoustic

This key is deeply acoustic and

very sensitive to tone.

It feels similar to the 22.

It takes everything the other keys pick up

and turns it into an emotional wave

This is the drama queen that lives inside me

If I hear a good, clear frequency?

I’m floating in awe

If the frequency feels off?

I drop into that deep, empty Piscean melancholy

This key amplifies everything.

A simple thank you, can bring me to tears

or a slightly cold tone

can create a heavy wave

I have to ride

The Full Orchestra of Emotions

When all these 5 keys are active together,

my whole body becomes basically a tuning fork

I pick up frequencies and little shifts in energy that most people don’t even notice.

This is why I write the way I do.

I’m not just sharing information,

I’m sharing the frequency I hear

in the tone of each key.

I’m still learning how to hold all this hearing without getting flooded… but I wouldn’t trade this acoustic wiring for anything
